Photos of Skye

View from the Old Man of Storr out towards the Storr loch's where we get our fresh water from at this end of the island. The old man of Storr is on the left and Peter is standing on the right. The photograph was taken by Richard( both Kathleen's sons)

The Old Man of Storr. A steady walk from the small car park for the fit and able . A slightly longer one for those less able as it is quite steep in places but worth the effort for the views alone. A walk to be done at your own pace

Neist point and light house. Lovely walk and a good fishing spot. Whales etc are often seen here during the year.

Seals on the rocks behind Dunvegan Castle on Loch Dunvegan. The picture was taken from a boat trip from the Castle

Old drover route at Kylerhea. A crossing used in the olden days to take the cattle to market on the mainland by swimming the cattle over the shortest stretch of water from the Isle of Skye and then walking them to market. It could take weeks.
